Sir Lancelot was raided by the lady of the lake whose name was Vivien so sometimes he his called Sir Lancelot of the lake. Sir Lancelot went on a quest for the Holy Grail. His journey to find the Holy Grail was unsuccessful. He was also a good friend of the king, Arthur. At the round table Lancelot got to sit right by Arthur. This was a very good honor to sit by the king, because only the greatest of friends or best of knights got to sit right by the king. One thing that led to the fight between Arthur and Lancelot was the affair between Guinevere and him. It was like the Guinevere/ Arthur/ Lancelot love triangle.
